MV Push-on Terminations

3M Push-on pre-molded Terminations consist of intricately engineered and molded EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) rubber components.
These products leverage the cold flow properties of the semi-conducting pad to ensure that there are no air pockets during installation, with the stress grading done by a pre-molded stress cone designed on a CAD station. 3M Push-on terminations can be used on cables from 3.3 to 36 kV based on diameter range over insulation.

3M Push-on is a re-usable termination, with the flexibility of the EPDM rubber guaranteeing active pressure and elimination of void development during load cycling. What’s more, 3M Push-on terminations eliminate the possibility of human error since the components are pre-molded, enabling error-free installation.
