Advanced LED Technology
The Ortholux LED Curing Light uses a single blue LED (Light Emitting Diode) that emits light in the 430-480 nm range at an intensity of 1000 mW/cm2, with the light being optimized specifically for the polymerization of materials used in orthodontic bonding.

Thanks to the LED technology, there is no bulb that would lose intensity or wear out, and due to negligible heat generation, there is no need for a fan which would use battery power and add weight. The microprocessor-based circuitry at the core of the Ortholux LED Curing Light assures consistent light output and effective performance throughout the power range of the internal rechargeable battery.
