Mini Uni-Twin™ Brackets

The Mini Uni-Twin™ appliance is designed on the clinically proven Uni-Twin™ bracket platform and is the only mini bracket to combine the advantage of the inter-bracket working distance of a single bracket with the rotation control of a twin bracket. While the Mini Uni-Twin is 30% smaller in occlusal / gingival height when compared to the Uni-Twin bracket, it maintains width in the mesial / distal dimension.

The Mini Uni-Twin system is a twin bracket frame with a centered, single bracket arch wire slot. And thus provides approximately 50% more inter-bracket distance than conventional twin brackets. This enables the orthodontist to start patients on larger arch wires and quickly progress to full-sized arch wires, with the benefits of reduced wire usage and increased patient comfort.

The Mini Uni-Twin bracket also features an innovative mesh bonding base that is designed to precisely match the curvature of the tooth for maximum contact and ensure strong, consistent bonding. For added convenience, it is recommended that the Mini Uni-Twin bracket be used along with APC™ Adhesive Coating.
