The 3M™ Impact Protection Attachment System is a combination of 3M™ Ultra Safety & Security Window Film and the 3M™ Impact Protection Adhesive / Profile. The Ultra Safety & Security Window Films and glass are secured to the window frame by employing a special attachment, ensuring a stronger window system.

3M Impact Protection Adhesive
3M™ Impact Protection Adhesive is a unique adhesive applied around the window frame to bond the glass, window film and frame together - significantly improving protection against severe weather damage, bomb blasts and potential intruders. Designed for use with 3M™ Ultra Safety & Security Window Film, 3M™ Impact Protection Adhesive is ideal for homes and commercial buildings.
A leader in adhesive technology, 3M is among the few window film companies that also manufacture adhesives. While other adhesives may require as much as three weeks for fully curing, 3M™ Impact Protection Adhesive can fully cure in less than seven days. Endowed with greater tear strength, elongation and tensile strength in comparison with conventional attachment adhesives, 3M™ Impact Protection Adhesive is available in both black and white options.

3M Impact Protection Profile
3M™ Impact Protection Profile uses an ingenious system that comprises a flexible, gasket-style attachment along with 3M™ VHB™ Tape to lock the film and window to the frame. In addition to providing similar benefits like the 3M™ Impact Protection Adhesive, the 3M™ Impact Protection Profile imparts a clean, factory-finished appearance to the window.
Adaptable to most window frames, 3M™ Impact Protection Profile can be easily installed without cutting existing gaskets and can also be retrofitted to existing safety film applications for increased protection. Presented in different sizes to cater to various applications, and available in black for commercial and white for residential applications, 3M™ Impact Protection Profile provides enhanced security to windows without compromising on aesthetics.
