Rigid Extrusion Bonded Technology or  REBel™ from CUNO controls the process parameters like temperature and pressure, and characteristics of the polypropylene resin. The result is a polypropylene filter that can be machine grooved without tearing or melting the filter structure. The rigid filter matrix improves filtration efficiency throughout the life of the filter and can be machine grooved on the upstream surface for increased surface area.

REBel™ Technology provides a high degree of fiber-to-fiber bonding, without the use of binders, to produce a rigid, core-less filter structure
