FIDS Solution

The FIDSMAX player software runs on standard player PCs and shows a loop of media files like Flash (.swf), .mpeg, avi and other standard multimedia format files. These loops are created by defining a playlist in the 3M DSi LAN Manager Software. The Manager software resides on a central PC, which talks to all the Remote FIDSMAX players located throughout the airport over a LAN network.

The Software can be configured to play the media files one file at a time and then switch over to the Flight Information screen. The software then continues by playing the next file in the media playlist. The software can be configured to show only arrival or departure information or both. he software switches over seamlessly to show Arrival / Departure information.The arrival / departure information is managed using the 3M FIDS manager Software, which resides on a separate PC. The 3M FIDS Manager Software enables you to make configuration settings, which include screen delay time, settings to drop old flight information, screen delay time and to define database sources.
