3M™ Petrifilm™ Rapid Coliform Count Plate detects coliform contamination as early as 6 hours. 3M™ Petrifilm™ Rapid Coliform Count plate is designed to provide fast, accurate results in 4-24 hours.

High coliform contamination can be detected beginning within four hours, and carrying on presumptive coliforms will be recorded in 14 hours. Quicker information means faster detection of contamination and also acting on them to minimize cost.

The results are available with three easy steps:

1) Inoculate - easy to inoculate, lift the top film and add sample
2) Incubate - designed to maximize incubator space
3) Enumerate – visibility of distinctive yellow zones within as little as 4 hours. Confirmed results are available within 24 hours.
