3M™ Petrifilm™ Aerobic Count Plates use a simple procedure to detect lactic-acid bacteria. Within 48 hours (U.S. AOAC®) the 3M™ Petrifilm™ Aerobic Count Plate determines the population of aerobic bacteria. Using the 3M™ Petrifilm™ Plate Reader, the Petrifilm Plate can read in 4 seconds.

3M™ Petrifilm™ Aerobic Count Plate enumerates the total aerobic bacteria present in the tested sample. Also, it follows a simple protocol to enumerate anaerobic bacteria for processed meats in high acidic food – ensuring quick and accurate results.
