3M™ Optical Distribution Frame
The modular optical fiber technology offers the user, central optical fiber distribution frames with high fiber counts. The applications are located in the fiber optic (FO) main distribution frame of network providers or Fiber To The Desk (FTTD) cabling, with a single-level hierarchy. This takes into account the specific characteristics of the fiber optic and the applications requiring a compact and accessible solution for the termination of optical fibers.

The system must guarantee trouble-free extension with no downtime maintenance. The 3M modular technology provides an extremely compact FO patching or splicing system. It has a patch distribution frame that offers a capacity of up to 144 fibers on three height units and if used as a splice distribution frame, the capacity increases to 288 fibers per 19” subrack.

The 3M™ Rack Mounted Fiber Patch System brings the features of our rack mounted Fiber Management System to the low Fiber Count Patching Systems. This unit provides excellent fiber patching management in low to medium fiber count installations and can be mounted into Standard 19-inch & 21-inch racks that have high-traffic.
