3M 2179 CD series of fiber optic closures are dome shaped, thermo shrink type closures that are suitable for buried and aerial applications. These closures are available in various sizes to accommodate a maximum of 96 fibers.

BPEO is a fully mechanical, easy to install, latest generation watertight splice-protection closure system, for FTTx networks. The BPEO range of products is designed for all types of networks from 12 to 432 optical fibers. The splice closure has two cable entrance ports on each end and is suitable for short-term pressurization during the flash test.

The closures can be installed in pedestals, hand-holes, and mounted on poles and strands. The FibrDome closure utilizes a sealing technology and has more than 30 years of experience in copper protection. You don’t require any special tools, power supply or torches for assembly. If you need to re-enter, simply pull the latch.
