ElectroCut™ Film (ECF)
3M™ ElectroCut™ Film Series 1170 is a transparent, acrylic, colored film with a pressure sensitive adhesive and is used for application on 3M™ Reflective Sheeting to produce durable sign backgrounds, copy, logos and Traffic control signs. This innovative film provides optimal cutting, weeding, lifting and transfer features when used with electronic cutting machines.

3M™ ElectroCut™ Film Series 1170 is available in a variety of widths, as pre-punched with a slotted hole pattern (1170S) and non-punched (1170) rolls.

3M™ Process Colors
Process colors are durable, transparent colors used to screen process copy, symbols or backgrounds on sign material. 3M process colors have been developed after many years of outdoor testing to provide maximum durability and color fastness. They ensure the color and durablity that is warranted by the Matched Component System™.

3M™ Process Color Series 880I
Durable, colorfast, rapid dry, transparent screen processing colors for use in the production of traffic control signs using 3M™ Diamond Grade™ and High Intensity Grade or Reflective Sheetings as a base.
Series 880I process color clear is available as an edge sealer for 3M Diamond Grade™ Conspicuity sheeting Series 983 and 3M High Intensity Grade Reflective Sheeting. Series 880I clear/edge sealer is best applied in temperatures of 60 degrees F (15 degree C) or above using a 1/2"-1" foam brush which gives a smooth coating.
